to look around before you decide whether to donate.
(Please donate – the roof needs fixing.)
|What's there?||The main attraction is the reconstruction of a manorial burgh of 1000 years ago, including the centrepiece – the meadhall. There will be various ancient crafts and skills on display, contemporary with the year 918. Time your visit well (usually early afternoon), and you'll see a clash of armed warriors as a local dispute gets out of hand.|
